Should I Service or Replace My Furnace?

Marblehead Heating Company

With the current financial struggles, it is imperative that we get the most value for our dollar. A new heating system is a massive investment. Does it make more sense to buy a new Heating System or heating service the one you already own?
Issues to look attentively at.
  • Does your home have dry air? You may have a problem with humidity. This could be the result of faulty duct-work or a faulty system. How often does your furnace break down? If it’s just an occasional problem, you may want to hang in there and repair it. However, if it breaks down a lot, it may be time for a new furnace. XX
  • Do you have an older furnace? A brand new furnace will be more efficient, saving you money immediately.
  • Do you have rooms in your home that are extra hot or extra cold? This is a sign that your system is not working properly.
  • If your furnace breaks down a lot, you definitely may want to consider replacing it.
If you are unsure whether you should buy a new furnace, contact a Marblehead Heating Company such as MRW Mechanical Cooling and Heating, they may be reached at 781-639-9222.
